In May 2001, Landbrugets Jobservice established a close
partnership with an agricultural college
(of approx. 5,000 students) in the
Ukraine
.
This agricultural college in the
Ukraine
has 5 subject areas to choose between.
These are:

Mechanical and Technological Faculty

The Faculty of electrification and automation of
agriculture

The Faculty of technical service in speciality

The Faculty of technisations of processing and storage
of agricultural products

The Faculty of management
The education at agricultural college
takes 5 years. It is within this period
that the students can travel abroad to
gain practical experience. Many of the
students that Landbrugets Jobservice
choose, have been in practical placements
in England or Germany, and can therefore
speak English or German at a reasonable
level.
Landbrugets Jobservice is responsible for
everything concerning the preparation of
application documents for living and
working permits. Landbrugets Jobservice
acts as a back up for both farmers and
students alike throughout the entire stay
in
Denmark
as well as offering an employment
guarantee. Landbrugets Jobservice in
cooperation with
Korinth
Agricultural
College
offers furthermore, a visit to
Korinth
Agricultural
College
with focus on the specific enterprises of
the individual students’ practical
placement.
On arrival to
Denmark
and before the start of Module 1a, the
student receives information on how to be
a student in
Denmark
. This takes place at a 2-day seminar at
Korinth
Agricultural
College
. Towards the end of the seminar, the
practical placement hosts are invited to
Korinth
Agricultural
College
to join their students and everyone enjoys
coffee and cake before going home together.
Landbrugets Jobservice also plays host to the students
on Christmas Eve as well as organising a
summer meeting for both student and
practical placement host alike.
